Guidelines for Parents

YOU CAN BE PROUD OF YOUR CHILD IF YOU CARE FOR HIM/HER

  1. Parents are expected to co-operate with the school in enforcing regularity and disciple in the children seeing that they prepare their lessons at home and take active interest in the activities of the school.
  2. Attend the parent/teacher meetings to ensure child’s progress in school.
  3. Your absence could be interpreted as indifference.
  4. Write a note explaining why you could not attend the P.T.M.
  5. Always pay the fees and other dues on time and avoid embarrassment to the child.
  6. No child is permitted to leave the school premises once he/she comes to school.
  7. Appointments with doctors must be avoided during school hours.
  8. Private tuitions by the school staff are totally banned.
  9. Parents, guardians or visitors are not allowed either to walk into class rooms or to meet the children or the teachers during school hours without the prior permission of the Principle.
  10. Criticism of a student’s teachers or school in his/her presence should be prudently avoided, because it causes the student to lose his/her respect for the teacher, with the consequent failure to learn from her. If you have a legitimate complaint, report to the principle directly and not to any member of the staff. Anonymous letters will not be entertained.
  11. In all communication with the school, the name, standard, and section of the child should be clearly mentioned.
  12. The school management, Principle ant staff will not be held responsible in any way for any accident that may occurs to the student in the school premises during the school hours or while going back home by bus or any other vehicle.
  13. Sick students should not be sent to school.
  14. Students suffering from a contagious or infectious disease are not allowed back to school until recovery in complete. Parents should note the Quarantine periods recommended for these common childhood ailments.

Chicken Pox – Till all the blisters dry and fall off.

Measles – Two weeks after the rashes disappear.

Mumps – 1 week after the swelling has subsided.

Jaundice – 4 weeks

Whooping cough – 4 weeks

Conductivities – Till no white discharge comes out from the eyes.

Viral fever – Five days after the fever has come down to normal
